Session Information

I would like to just give you an idea of what to expect for our session...

Newborn:

Definitely expect to take breaks during your newborn session. Newborns often need breaks to

nurse, feed, change of diaper, or just some cuddle time. Don't be surprised if your newborn

has LOTS of accidents throughout our session...its OK because everything is washable :)

You might want to have a change of clothes for yourself in case of accidents such as spit up or getting

peed on by a naked baby. Make sure to bring plenty of wet wipes and diapers. Newborn sessions usually

last 2-3 hours, so please keep this in mind when planning the day of your session. I

like to keep the house kinda warm and keep a space heater going near the baby to keep baby

nice and warm while they are nakie. I like to get a few shots of the parents with baby towards

the end of our session. I also encourage including siblings in a couple shots as well.

Maternity:

During a maternity session I like to take clothed belly and bare belly pics. We will

also take a few poses of you and your partner. If you have other children,

I would LOVE to include them in a couple of shots as well. Be sure to bring a

couple different changes of clothing. I have listed a few suggestions below.

Family and/or Children:

If you have small children, it is always a good idea to try and pack a snack or their

favorite toy. Sometimes the best shots are of you interacting with your child(ren)...LOVEEE

the natural, unposed shots! Toddlers will sometimes not wanna do what we want them

to do and they tend to sometimes have tantrums. If they do, don't worry! We will just

give them a little time to relax and start over :) Patience always pays off in the end!

Here are some suggestions of what to wear for your session:

Newborn Session:

Most of the shots I like to take are when baby is nude, but you are more than welcome to bring

a favorite outfit or two to in-cooperate into the session. I do have a lot of props such as hats,

bloomers, ties, headbands, etc., but you are more than welcome to bring some of your own!

Mom: Black or white tank top or blouse. You can also bring a tube top. Dad: Black or white shirt.

Those that are comfortable going shirt-less makes for some of the CUTEST photos

with your precious newborn.

Maternity Session:

For Maternity sessions, jeans always look good. Also, a white button down blouse is

good to bring for those bare belly shots :)  Sundresses work well also!

Here are a few other things that are good to bring with you: blocks that spell

baby’s name, ultrasound photo, and/or baby's first pair of shoes.

Family and/or Children Session:

Try to avoid all white or all black color combos.
Try to stay away from matching outfits but instead find outfits that compliment each other.
Try to stay away from stripes or anything with large logos.

Jeans are always a good choice!
You are welcome to bring tutus or any other FUN accessory!

If you have any other fun props such as chairs, luggage, stools, anything you think

would add character to our session, then feel free to bring it :)

Those are just a few suggestions to kinda give you an idea!

Be creative! Most importantly, RELAX AND HAVE FUN!
